Like many others, the Piana delle Orme Museum originated from a private collection, that of Mariano De Pasquale, a floricultural entrepreneur who over the course of his life has collected a wealth of objects, tools and machinery of all types and sizes.
These are mostly the material evidence that populated the daily life of our countryside, but also means that first appeared during the war period.
More than a museum, it is a collection of museums, each of which, linked by the thread of a narrative about the history of the twentieth century, illustrates a theme.
